Package missing :( has anyone else had this happen?

@Britt214:  Last week UPS left someone else’s package on my porch so I took it where it belonged.  Hopefully someone will bring it to you tonight!

A lot of times some packages are marked delivered before they are actually delivered. I’d give it another day.

UPS is terrible. I’ve always had a bad experience with them, unfortunately. I hope you get your parcel soon 🙂

@Britt214:  YEP!  UPS delivered all of my invitation supplies to the wrong house.  So same deal, super excited that I got the delivery notification but when I got home – NADA.  I waited 1 day before I called UPS but they insisted it was delivered to my address.  They will also tell you 8-10 days for an investigation but you have to call the shipper to notify them it never arrived and they’re the ones that open the claim with UPS.  Luckily my shipper was super cooperative and said to call back if UPS hadn’t found it within 1 more day and they’d rush me a new order and deal with UPS themselves on the original package. 

Thank goodness I have a wonderful neighbor down the street (who I hadn’t met until then) who drove it over to me.  UPS still says they delievered to the correct address… um, NO YOU DIDN’T.

Found out later, it was all due to a new UPS driver who basically just assumed he was at the right house when he couldn’t see house numbers…. Awesome.  Undecided

@Britt214:  If it doesn’t show up and UPS wont help, definitely contact wherever you got them from. A lot of times, they will send you another pair for free. My sister shipped a pair of Tom’s to my dads house prior to Christmas, they were marked as delivered, and they were nowhere to be found. We contacted them and they immediately sent us another pair! Not sure if this is how jewelry places work – but a lot of them have great customer service!

Yeah, but mine was FedEx. They were really polite when I called but I never got a call back; I meant to call again but SO and I are out of town for three days while his mom is in the hospital

we’ve had packages stolen from right outside our front door, so I feel your pain:/ hopefully everything gets sorted out soon!

The UPS guy had our neighbor sign for our package once even though it had DH’s name on it…real legit UPS.

Not UPS, but USPS lost my package of perishables last week! I ordered from a company and had two day shipping, but the package never showed up. I contacted the company who said USPS lost the ENTIRE shipment that they sent out (like hundreds of orders). The company reshipped, but then USPS was late delivering it, so the stuff went bad anyway! Luckily I just disputed it all through PayPal and got my money back. When I contacted the seller about using a more reliable method of shipment they basically said not to order anything during the holidays because USPS WILL lose it.
