I have a strange question. A friend of mine sent me a new tote bag a few weeks ago using USPS. About two weeks ago, it showed as being processed through a USPS sort facility about 200 miles from my home. There have been no more updates. I called the post office and they just said they could “take a message”. I’m not sure what else I can do! Does anyone have any advice?

Keep calling and be a pain. If it ends up being over 2 weeks go to your local post office and file a claim and contact the vendor.

Keep calling. maybe the address was wrong…or area code. or worst case scenario is it was lost or stolen. i kinda feel your pain. i have been anxiously awaiting a package from Moissaniteco. they do three day shipping..but my package got to our local fedex facility on Saturday…and they can’t ship it out till the three days is up. it has just been sitting there and they won’t release it until today. even more frustrating is moissaniteco sent it to the wrong address. i put my husbands private mailbox. they messed up. so it’s been a two day ordeal calling the shipping facility and corporate. finally my husband can go and pick it up…what a drag. i really wish Moissaniteco did UPS shipping or USPS shipping.

The person who shipped it has to file the claim. The process is explained on their web site. the reality is, unless it was insured chances are nothing will come of it. I mailed way too many packages chime children in college that never made it! no one at USPS will take the blame. And they are never found.
