To all you ladies you sent magents as your Save the Dates, how did you package them so it wasn’t just a magnet in a plain envelope? I’m considering ribbon, embossing the envelope or pocket inserts. What have you guys done to make them extra special and make your guests as excited as you are?

i stuck them on a card with glue dots because i wanted to include some extra info that wasn’t on the magnet.
you could also tie a ribbon around them a la miss brooch.

I just sent the magnet in the envelope. I did emboss the envelope but I think a grand total of 5 people noticed.

i put in cute poems with the magnets – my blog has a thing about it.
its just a STD though – i saved the $$ and time for my invites. which everyone loved.

I just bought nice looking off white envelopes and used a black rubber corner border stamp on the front (it was an elegant swirly pattern, just from jo-ann’s) and on the back where the flap closed I stamped another rubber stamp that was a tiny bride and groom, kind of like a seal. That’s it, though, nothing too fancy!

Here is what I did with mine. Everyone loved them.

Mine came with cute little envelopes that had a nice-looking silver lining. Other than that, I just put the magnet in the envelope and did some mail-merge labels.

I am putting ours in our Christmas cards! Maybe you could make a cute little note to go with each one to make it a little more personal!

We’re putting ours in little photo greeting cards, a lot like Mrs. Buttons’ Save the Dates! We had our photo on front and then a little message on the inside with our magnets. Good luck! We’re getting our order in this week, so hopefully they turn out well :-).

I attached mine to cardstock with photo magnets, and wrote a personalized note to each guest on the the other half of the cardstock. (I also sent a more formal postcard). You can kinda see the magnet here:
