The rules for the liquids in carryons is they must be less than 3 oz and they must all fit into one quart size ziploc baggie. I dont think they will let you take your hairspray with you. What we do is leave behind any toiletries and just go to the Walgreens on the strip and buy what we need (shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, makeup, etc). Is your hairspray sold at Walgreens? If not you could always take a cab when you get there to the nearest store that you know sells it. I would think the cost would be less than the $20 each way that the airlines charge for checked luggage.
Anyway, have fun! And I am so completely jealous, there is no way I or my bridesmaids could afford a trip to Vegas for the bachelorette party but that was my dream. We will be there for the honeymoon in any case.
I ended up getting a different brand, that was a small size for my carry-on, so they wouldn't throw it away! So either pack a small one, or prepare to buy one when you arrive. Have a safe and fun trip! :)
No, you're definitely not allowed to take it. But how expensive is it and how much would you care about losing it? One of the travel blogs I read said that she often takes full size toiletries with her. She just packs them dead center in her carry-on (harder for TSA to see) and in all the time she's been doing this they've only stopped her once. (Scary? Maybe... but we know you're not going to assault anyone with your hair spray lol).
Although I would say if it is aerosol that might be a bigger problem because it is metal and would probably be seen more than a glass or plastic bottle.

so it's here ladies, come this thursday i will FINALLY be on the plane to meet my lady loves in SIN CITY for my bachelorette party wknd!
Not gonna lie, I cleaned out our closet and I’ve been packed since last Thursday! LOL.
So my [dumb] question is… I don’t want to check a bag, and I’ve managed to fit clothing/shoes into a carryon roller… my only concern is, packing toiletries… (I’ll bring a small travel toothpaste, no shamp/conditioner (use gf’s or hotel’s)…) but I really want to pack my can of BIGSEXYHAIR hairspray… will TSA make me throw it out, since it’s in a carry on? What are the rules for what to pack (liquids wise?)
I kno the general guidelines but haven’t flown in over a year and can’t remember… plus the last few times, they didn’t take out my lighter which I thought no one could carry either… thanks for the help in advance bees~!
