Lately when I check on the blog my page turns all white, everytime I log onto weddingbee. Is anyone else having this problem????
yeppers it happens a few times for me. it happened a lot yesterday...
It happened to me once when I tried to post something, but it seems to have quit that now.
You know, when I started using WB a few months ago, there was a sticky about this at the top of the boards, for like a month or longer. I never read it though, because it never happened to me. Have you tried shutting down and restarting your browser? If it's a cookies issue, that should resolve it, at least temporarily.
Otherwise I'd say ask in the Support section. They're pretty good at getting stuff fixed up that way ;)
@daydream - I remember seeing that post at the top of the boards for awhile but just like you, I never read it because it wasn't a problem for me. Now it happens all day, everyday. And its only the blog, never anything else on the site. It's very weird... Thanks for the tip on the support section. I may have to try that if nothing works
It's only happened to me once... is it happening to you on a fairly regular basis? If you're having crazy problems i would look into the support that @daydreamwanderer mentioned!
Has this been happening more for you guys recently? We didn't get many reports of this until a few days ago... so wondering if this is a recent phenomenon or not.
Me! Wedding bee will only load if I type in weddingbee.com/boards instead of just weddingbee.com It's driving me bonkers!
It only happned to me a couple of times, but it seems to have cut it out.
It happened to me today a couple of times when i was going through old bee posts, I would click to the next one and then it would be all white. I would type weddingbee back in and it would be all white.
It happens to me pretty frequently, but it only started a couple weeks ago. I never had a problem before that.
It happens to me pretty frequently, too. I have to google "weddingbee" and then choose "boards" or "classifieds" and then go to the front page from there. Not a big deal, it just means I can't load the website from the link in my favorites, I have to google it.
I'm still having this problem today. It just started in the past week or 2. It got a little better last night but wont work again today.
@jamielee - I have to do the same thing!!! Typing it into google and head to the board first. But the page always goes white again.

i had it today as well. i have it quite frequently when i try to log onto weddingbee.com versus boards.weddingbee.com (which seems to fix the problem)
Yes has been happening to me all the time this past week. Today seems especially bad! I can't expand the posts from the bees to see the rest of the posts without the page going blank, and I if I type weddingbee.com into my browser the same thing happens.
It has been happening to me A LOT. I've restarted the browser, checked cookies, everything I could think might cause it and it's still happening. :(
Happens to me all the time. I keep hitting refresh until I am able to access the site again.
Happening to me every time I try to hit "back" on a page - I have to go back to my favorites link and enter all over again.
It just happened to me right now. It's the first time it has ever happened to me.

I am getting a lot of "server timed out" errors. I have to click the try again button to get in. I have gotten this error in the past, but today it is more frequent.
it never used to be a problem, but now it's happening all the time. It just happened a few minutes ago when I was trying to catch up on the blog posts that were posted over the weekend.
It has been happening to me fairly frequently lately. I can look at the blog, but occasionally if I go to boards, I can't return to the blog without going to an unrelated web page then returning to 'the bee.
I have also had an occasional problem with being unable to sign in to post.
Both of these problems happen at home and at work.
It's been happening to me a lot lately (the past week or so). Usually when I click to read more of a blog entry and try to go back, that's when it goes white, and then when I try to go to weddingbee.com to start fresh, it won't let me for five minutes or so.
It just happened where I logged in and was reading a blog post, but when I went to go back to the main page, it went white. Hitting refresh did not help. I closed the browser, opened a new one and came back, and that fixed it. I normally open new tabs for new threads and don't use the back button, and it hasn't happened to me before. I wonder if the back button is part of the problem? It seems like others have problems going back, too.
It keeps happening to me. I can't even see the homepage. I am only able to see the board page by typing in www.weddingbee.com/boards.
Nothing else will load for me.
This happens pretty regularly for me, although it had been about a week since it last happened until just a second ago.

happens to me when I try to refresh a page. I can get back in by using one of the workarounds previously mentioned though.
Everyone, I'm pretty sure I have the solution: at the top of your browser bar in Internet Explorer (that's what I use, so I'm not sure what the icon is in other browsers), there's an icon that looks like a piece of paper ripped in two. It's the Compatibility View icon - click on it whenever the page goes white and it should reload just fine.
Lili - that's what I do too. It's just kind of odd that it's been happening more frequently now for me even though I was browsing weddingbee with no problems a month ago.
It's been happening to me, too!!!! My computer is not possessed!!!! It happens when I am on the blogs and I click submit. Thanks for the advice Lili. I will have to try that.
It's also happened to me a number of different times on both my home and work computers! (Umm, not that I read WB at work or anything...)
This happens to me every now and then, but in the last week or so EVERY time I come to weddingbee I have this problem. It is really making the site completely unusable for me.
