I thought I was 100% sold on Paisley for a daughter. I’ve thought this for 2+ years. Now I’m wavering.
Let’s do a poll!
My son is Warren Thile (th-eally) Mets
The name could be any option of these…. we may use them both – but will choose to call her whatever is in the second name slot. (You can tell me in the comments which option of the full name you like best.)
Alta Paisley Mets (APM)
Alta Paisley Cecilia Mets (APCM)
Alta Celia Mets (ACM)
Alta Cecilia Mets (ACM)
Alta Cecilia Paisley Mets (ACPM)
PS – Where we live Celia will most likely be pronounced seal-ya not seal-ee-a.

I think Paisley is sooo cute!!

I can see kinds easily making fun of Celia and I love Paisley fabric but as a name its definetly different.

I voted for Warren and Paisley because I think they sound better together but for the name I think Alta Celia Mets sounds the best.

I really don’t think you should focus too much on how the sibling names sound together. They are separate individuals and will rarely be address together past childhood.
I really don’t like Paisley, as a name or a fabric pattern.
Celia is a nice classic name that’s not weird but not too common either. However I see your PS that it’s be pronounced Seal-ya. Not too crazy about that but it’s better than Paisley.

I like Celia! Sorry, but Paisley reminds me of the little girl on Toddler and Tiaras who dressed up like Julia Robert in Pretty Woman.

I like Cecilia, Celia makes me think of Celia Cruz

Celia is by far the best. Paisley might be cute for a little girl or baby but an adult? It’s a little cutesy and I’m not a fan.
Also, Alta means tall or high is most romance languages, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian. I would definitely avoid this.
Warren and Celia sound great together.

I like Celia the best of the names you have provided. 🙂

Paisley makes me think of the pattern… and Brad Paisley. Not a little girl. Personally I’m not a fan.

Celia for sure! It’s very cute. People would mispronounce Alta, and Paisley is a pattern.

I prefer Cecilia.
Paisley is a pattern and doesn’t sound right as a name to me. Alta will not be pronounced the way you want by other people. And Celia feels like it is missing something.
