I’m right in the thick of choosing colors for our wedding and I need the hive’s help!
Bridemaid dress are navy blue so should I go with a mix of pale pink and white BM bouquets and I’ll carry red? Or should I go classic and have pure white (with a little green mixed in)?
Something more like this:
I don’t want to compete with the venue (Grand Canyon) so that’s why I’m shying away from dark colors but I also don’t want it to be boring! Any recommendations??

I just love that second photo…i love that whole color scheme actually.
Keep in mind–white flowers don’t stay pure white very long. Eventually they start looking icky in photos, especially if you aren’t good about putting them in water throughout the day.

I am not sure how the pink and white will look with the red. Do you have examples?

i think the textured white would go more with the navy i love my pastels and baby pinks but white looks better cleaner fresher

i LOVE pale pink and navy. in fact, that’s what my colors are going to be. i also love peonies and roses, so that picture is LOVE LOVE LOVE from me. however, i’m not sure how navy, light pink, and red would look together. i haven’t decided what i’m going to do yet, but you can always have a larger version of the BM bouquets in the same light pink and white.

I would just go with the pale pink and navy and no red. It’s much more romantic. The red and navy reminds me of nautical things.

Ack! I never thought of red and navy being nautical but you gals are totally right. Red is scrapped!
And it looks like pale pink is the clear winner here which is why my gut was telling me I wanted anyway. Sometimes, we just need a little reassurance! 🙂
Now the question becomes….what kind of pale pink flowers??? I’m madly in love with the second photo so I think I’ll use that as my inspiration but all you pale pink brides out there, mind posting some of your inspiration photos for bridesmaid and bridal bouquets?

I like the pink and white idea with the navy dresses. The white will look good also but it seems to plain. The pink adds more depth. But i would make your flowers pink and white also. It will look more uniform. They don’t have to be exactly the same but at least in the same color palate. Here is a pick of my bouquet and my BM bouquets- not for the colors obviously but to show the cohesion of the two. I had more white and they had more color

I have the same colors! The girls will have either white hydrangeas or football mums with blush roses mixed in. I am having all dark pink roses for my bouquet.
