Recently I’ve fallen in love with the idea of very sheer light blue shoes. I’ve been looking all around for some with a heel that doesn’t exceed two inches as FI and I are kind of close in height. So far I’ve found these, but they’re all ultra tall:
Nina in Easter Sage – (current favorite)
Martinez Valero Caitlin
Anyone seen anything like what I’m looking for? I would really like to stay under $150 for them.

Why not find something you like that can be dyed? Zappos has TONS of dyeable shoes! Then you can get it to the exact colour you want.

PS – I LOVE those first ones!!!! I want them!!!

I LOVE the Roma shoes! I have had them in my inspiration folder for months now. I think they are probably too formal for my wedding and I’d sink in the grass, but I think they are just so elegant. And my BM dresses will be navy so a pop of light blue would “go” but not “match,” as Stacy and Clinton would say.
Wow, I just went through zappos, heels, and endless .coms and didn’t really find anything! I am shocked. I definitely think you should try looking into dyeable shoes. Or what about something like Miss Pumpkin Penguin’s (comment 7 in this thread)? I don’t know where she got hers, but if that’s close to what you want you could probably ask her. Good luck!

These are amazing, by Carlos Santana, on Zappos, but probably too tall?

@ bakerella I’m kind of wary of dyeables, having previously had a bad experience with them. I’m starting to think I might not have a choice though. Do you have any experience with a good place that does dyeables? I really only know about DB.
@Amaryllis I was pretty amazed not to find anything like that on any of the major shoe shopping websites. It kind of made me resentful of the neutral shoe trend that is everywhere right now. =) Thanks for the referral to Ms. Pumpkin Penguin, it looks like she had hers dyed at DB.
@7SEVENJ9 I do love those Santana shoes, but alas, too tall =(

How about Pour La Victorie? They make a whole line of bridal and occasion shoes and make many styles (including wedge if your worried about sinking in the grass) in a pale blue satin (I just got a pair on ebay myself: Laela)
