Panama City Brides!

posted 6 months ago in Florida Panhandle

Even if you are planning this as a destination wedding, there has got to be a group of people planning a wedding for Panama City.  I am from the area and currently living in Pensacola, so I've got lots of helpful tidbits if anybody needs 'em!

Panama City Wedding Planner.   My parents decided to hire a wedding planner (much to my annoyance b/c I feel I could get it all done myself).  After meeting with her I realized that - OK!  My parents have their heart set on it - she's great - less stuff for me to do!  I am still doing some sentimental DIY projects, but she is going to be the one dealing with the vendors and corraling people when needed, and fixing last minute issues without my mother's head exploding.  I love her to death already just for being the go-between for my mother and I.... PRICELESS!!  (this should be a mastercard commercial!)

She doesn't have a website but she does responds to my emails within minutes (hooray for BlackBerry!), and I wouldn't trade her for the world.  As far as I know, she only does Panama City (and surrounding area) weddings, but if you are an out-of-towner planning a destination wedding to panama city - this is the planner for you!!   If you are interested, message me and I will send you her contact information.

Our wedding will be in Grayton Beach, which is closer to Panama City than Pensacola, so I figured I'd post here!

My brother and parents have lived in the area for a while, so I've been very lucky and am enjoying a lot of great hookups while planning my wedding. We are marrying on the beach and holding our reception in the yard of a nearby beach house we are renting for the week. Red Bar is catering the reception. We are keeping our guest list very small - no more than 60 people - and have a small budget, but the day will be beautiful, and I am planning on doing much of the decorating of the site myself. Sites like Wedding Bee, and books like The Do It Yourself Bride have been incredibly valuable in helping me with a lot of little and not-so-little projects!
