@bellasmom82004:  Honestly I would order the Primose unseen. Your going to need two months to do alterations and remember that alterations cost money as well. If buying the Gemma with the rush fee is already expensive enough to make you not sleep throw some extra alteration fees on top of it and you will really be making yourself miserable.

Personally I wouldn’t try to get a replica made this close to your wedding date as they can be hit or miss and I would worry about getting them shipped over here on time. You would basically have no time for a plan B if that happened.

I like the PP idea of buying the Gemma used and getting it altered. Is it more in your price range at that price? Plus you could still sell it afterwards and recoup some costs.

If that’s not an option I would go with the Maggie Sottero Primrose for the reasons other people mentioned. Don’t put yourself under a ton of stress and debt for a dress for one day.

I don’t know what the price difference is, but if the Gemma is really going to put you in a bind financially then I would say order the Primrose. They really look SO similar.

i would have been really interested in buying, but my wedding is october 18!!  theres no way i could have it adjusted.  BUT if you happen to be 37 bust, 30 waist, 37 hips, 5’10” with heels, then i would be really interested!  try emailing from another email addy btw as sometimes emails are junked and they dont get them.

@bellasmom82004:  honestly I would go with the maggie dress. that price difference is enough to convince me. The differences in the dresses are so small that only you (or another bride who has picked apart dresses) are going to know the difference on the day of the wedding.

a difference of $6000 dollars is no joke, if you have such a similar option, like the maggie, I wouldnt’ even be debating. Not to mention that sending a dress immediately after your wedding is going to be a headache. Save yourself all of this hassle and go with the maggie 🙂
