@Lillyrose:  I see that a lot, temp shift is short one day after O and then spikes the second day. I couldn’t see your chart from the link, but don’t panic yet. If you have had regular cycles up to this point and just started charting and confirmed O last cycle I’m sure things are fine. It takes a few months of charting to start to see patterns in your cycle. The fact that cycle one was such a success is a good start.

I’m not really sure why you are panicking? Is it just because you haven’t gotten your crosshairs on FF yet? Nothings coming up when I click on your chart link. I think CH usually come up when you have three elevated temps so why don’t you plug in some fake temps for the next cuople of days and see if it gives you CH? As for the spotting, ovulation spotting is definitely something that can happen and if the nurse is telling you it’s normal, then it’s not something to worry about!

@Lillyrose:  Plus a +Opk doesn’t mean you O’d that day, it  means you are going to o within the next day or two. You might be ovulating today. You’ll see the shift soon I’m sure.

Spotting around ovulation is a GREAT sign of fertility..that actually means you’re very fertile!

Don’t worry m’dear! I don’t think you have anything to stress over!

@Lillyrose:  Being a control freak (speaking about myself) makes TTC impossibly hard. You have absolutely NO control over it. I totally understand how you’re feeling. I know it’s impossible, but you just have to try to relax about. Stress is going to do nothing but make it worse. It sounds like you are in great shape for TTC though!!

I think you’re fine! I understand your worries, but I think you’re worrying for nothing! In terms of TTC being completely out of your control….I think you could change the way you look at it. Taking pre-natals, eating healthfully, exercising, working on your relationship and having good sex, and tracking your cycles are all examples of “working at TTC.” I think you should pour your energy into these things instead of infertility fears. I hope I’m making sense. I don’t want to tell you to just “relax and stop worrying,” like it’s that easy, but to shift your focus elsewhere. Good luck!

OP, these ladies have very great advice. Don’t work yourself up into a stressball. If anything, it will do WAY more harm than good. Mid cycle spotting is a good thing. You sound pretty normal.
