Im really sorry you are going through this!

I know its the last thing u want to hear but it could be a chemical pregnancy. Ive been through it myself and I didnt get my period until several days after I stopped getting BFPs.

Good luck, sending hugs your way!

It could be a few things. Your urine could have been diluted, the dye in the test just might not be dark, or you could be having a chemical Pregnancy. you can always hold your pee for 4 hrs(or longer if you can) without drinking a ton… And retest to see if it changes things…

goos luck

Call your doctor and ask if they will do an HCG test to see if it is rising or falling.

krystalite:  any line no matter what faintness means you’re pregnant. Like PP said, it could be a variation in the dye lots of the tests, it could be due to dilute urine or unfortunately it can mean a chemical pregnancy or very very early miscarriage. The only way to know is to wait it out… Even a blood test result wouldnt tell you much more than you already know. You’d need at least two blood draws 48 hrs apart to tell you if your levels are rising normally.  Try to relax and think positive. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Everything graygodess20 said.  I have had two early losses and found out both times because of non-progressing (and then regressing) FRERs.  There ARE other reasons why this happens, but in the very beginning two days should mean doubled HCG… So if two days later your line is significantly lighter than Saturday, well… I’m very sorry 🙁  You should obviously confirm with HCG tests. Tell them about the regressing pregnancy tests. Mine sent me in for bloodwork as soon as I told them.

FYI, for me, I didn’t start bleeding until a few days after I saw my HCG falling on FRER, both times.

krystalite:  Chemical pregnancies are actually pretty common.  What typically happens is that people never knew they were pregnant in the first place, so they just get their period and move on as normal so it probably doesn’t seem like a lot of people get them. Thats kind of the down side for testing super early.

Any way I hope this isn’t the case for you, I would just get a blood test. They will test you twice and see if the HG is rising or falling. Good luck, I hope you just had a faulty test.

Chemical pregnancies are very common. It’s an early miscarriage. Many people don’t even realize they’re pregnant because they just assume their period was a few days off. If I hadn’t been testing I would have assumed the same with mine, since my period is often irregular.

I would definitely call your doctor and explain what is happening. They should run a blood test today and then another in 48 hours to see if the numbers are rising properly or not.

krystalite:  chemical pregnancies are said to be very common…they often can happen before or around your period, so a lot of women wouldn’t have even known they were pregnant (as PP said, that would be a downside of testing really early).  But as far as the symptoms, they can come and go.  I had symptoms one day and not the next and it wasn’t until about 8 weeks along where I symptoms every day.  I would call your Dr. and talk to them. good luck!

krystalite:  my second time I had A LOT of preg symptoms.  My nausea was very strong (never vom’d but was on the brink several times a day) but I had positive tests for almost two weeks before I lost the pregnancy.  I could only eat saltines and other bland carbs for that week and a half. It made me feel super pregnant and much better than the first time it happened.  However, one day I woke up feeling better than I had in days, and freaked.  Then I POAS and it was no darker than the day before, and MAYBE just a touch lighter- but I knew better than to compare 1 test to another with just a day between them.  The next day it was again lighter, and that combined with my lessoned symptoms meant what I’d been afraid of.  I’m so sorry this might be happening to you, but again I would say you still need another day of testing or blood hcg to confirm.

I am just so, so sorry to hear this. I know it’s not time for condolences yet, but I was in your shoes back in July. I scoured the Internet for stories like this that had happy endings, and while a few are out there, it’s good to prepare yourself for the possibility that this is an early loss. :-/

Mine happened over the weekend. First faint BFP on a Friday, went in Monday, hCG was 30. On Wednesday, only 14. I started bleeding that day.
