If you live in NY, NJ or PA I am sure you have either read or heard on the news about Celebration studios going bankrupt and leaving tons of brides without photos or without their money and without a photog/videographer. I am one of those victims but my situation was a little different. I signed the contract with Celebration studios but for some reason my payment went to the owner of Celebrations girlfriends studio called Accent Studios.  Please do not use Accent.  They are just as involved in the whole scam as Celebration. Criminal charges have also been filed against Accent. I don't want to see another bride going through what I am going through.  My wedding is in May. I lost over $2300 on the videography and now just booked a new one for $4k. If you were victimized you can go to a blog spot on Yahoo called wrongedbycelebrations.  There is lots of useful info there.  Oh and I actually did an interview with Pei-Sze Cheng of News 4 NY this afternoon. Her segment will run at 11pm tonight.

Thanks Ladies! I did contact my cc company but because it was over 60 days that I paid they could not help me. So hoping the claims I filed with the NJ Consumer Affairs will hopefully get me my money back. And there is a class action law suit as well.
