I wrote a poem that I would like to frame and present to DH for our first anniversary, but I’m not quite sure how I should display it.
I saw this on Etsy which I really like, but I don’t like how you can’t see behind the tree. I want the poem to be readable.
I thought about printing it on a canvas along with a wedding picture, but I think a canvas is made of cotton, so I’d like to save the canvas idea for a second anniversary.
Any ideas how I can creatively display the poem?

What about a frameless frame? Something like this: http://www.displaytactix.co.nz/images/357/425/picture-frame-acrylic-01.jpg

MrsCallalily: If you’re set on using the tree shape, what about etching it onto the glass? Just buy a frame you like, print and cut out the tree shape on sticky paper, then follow the instructions on a container of glass etching solution. Voila! You now have a custom frame for your poem. This would probably work with other shapes/patterns too. Good luck!

Miss-Mauverick: I didn’t even know that was something I could do!
I’m thinking that I will find a nice simple frame and try to come up with an elegant way to print the poem. If it still looks like it needs something, maybe I’d try the glass etching but that seems difficult and intimidating to me!
