I am doing paper flowers, but nothing like what you have. I folded tissue paper accordion style, cut a rounded edge on each end and then fanned them out. I stuck those in a little styrofoam wreath. Inside the wreath I am going to place a vase(which I got at the dollar store!) and fill that with water and a floating tealight. i don’t know if that helps. I am going to have some fresh flowers too, but I don’t care if it doesn’t go together, I just don’t want to do that many styrofoam wreaths.

What are your colors? You could do some kind of fruit that goes with your colors in apothecary jars, like this: http://ultrapom.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/lime-apothecary.jpg. I also think it would be really pretty to do paper flowers strewn around the table in different colors and sizes intermixed with votives of different sizes.

You could do branch centerpieces with some of your beautiful paper flowers attached.

There have been previous posts about these beautiful paper flower centerpieces

paper flower arrangements

or spray paint a whole variety of vases and containers white and use single paper flowers

@MrsNerdy: I really really like the first picture you posted. You could do something like that for sure. However, I think it would be best if you described to us what your paper flowers looked like, since there’s so many different styles out there. Are they the tissue paper kind, or the rolled kind? Let us know so we can help you out more!

@MrsNerdy: yeah, that makes sense, but maybe not filling the water to the brim might help. 🙂

That is beautiful!!  I’ve been toying with the idea of paper flowers, but I think i’m way too awkward and not even close to this talented to pull it off like you have.

Those may also look pretty in a low, square brown vase like those in the picture posted above by julies1949.  It would match the color scheme you seem to have going.

Sorry if I missed this earlier (I’m new to all this) but did you use a specific tutorial to help you make these? (or do you have one?)  Where did you get the paper you used?

Good luck with everything!
