I love real flowers, working years at a flower shop and constantly being around then makes me love them more but man are they costly. My wedding, as most of you know, is going to be in Vegas so the traditional elegance of real flowers would be appreciated but not needed, however the ceremony will be at The Springs Preserve in Vegas but it will also be in October. I attached a pic of my inspiration bouquet but an kind of wondering if I should maybe use paper ones to save some fat cash. What do you bees think? Should I use real or paper? If I use the paper should I try to DIY or outsource via etsy

Do you have any experience making paper flowers?
I know some of the nicer ones I’ve seen for sale aren’t a lot cheaper than real; the biggest benefit would be that your bouquet will last forever, if you’re into keeping that sort of thing.

Im all about real but whatever works for you plus if you want to save some money maybe you should look into paper flowers.

No I have no experience in that but the lady I worked for at the flower shop does and her and the designers are very creative and have offered to help me. I am not too sentimental so keeping them isnt something that would mean a lot to me, my mom would love them tho bc she is super sentimental about stuff like that.

I am slightly partial to real ones as well. Maybe I could do something like get real ones for my personal bouquet but do paper ones for my girls bc I am wanting them to have sort of an all cream/ivory color of a bouquet and be more full, but I dont know if that would look silly against my real bouquet.

i made my own paper flowers after hunting down tutorials online and i love how they turned out and that they last forever. i actually went with paper when we needed to cut back our wedding budget. i also made the flowers for all of my bridesmaids and the flower girl. i also just finished making a bouquet for a girl who loved my flowers but didn’t have the time to make them herself. it’s a cheap option you can totally customize.
for another bride who loves poppies

You have to see the quality of the fakes. Some fakes are sooooooooo great. Most are not.
