I'm also a paper flower bride, but my wedding isn't until May. Hopefully I won't have to figure out the answer to this question. :)
You could always throw a fake flower bouquet together for that just in case moment and still have the paper flower bouquet for photos. Keep my fingers crossed for you that it is bright and sunny for your big day.
Most brides have back up plans in case of rain whether their flowers are paper or not. You definitely need to be concerned with the dye leaking onto your dress from certain papers.
Why not get a set of those cute bubble umbrellas? They make cute pics.
You can always use Mod Podge or Krylon's clear spray to help. That should preserve them pretty well! And if you don't use a thick layer, it won't shine!
are they pre-made, or can you make them out of some kind of paper that is rain resistant?

I want to use the martha stewart HUGE paper roses for my bouquets.
BUT I am getting married in Ireland in october and worried about them getting rained on.
Have any other paper flower brides been rained on?
What happened to the flowers?
