(Closed) paper mache table numbers–help?

I think I bought the exact same numbers you’re talking about! we’re also using these as our table numbers and I’m sort of in the same boat as you regarding how to get the numbers to stay up. I actually got the idea from the flush designs blog: http://flushdesigns.blogspot.com/2009/05/yia-sals-soft-seaside-wedding-paper.html

If you scroll down you can see what they did with the numbers… they sort of propped them up against the vases, etc. that they had on the table, which is what I might do. Otherwise you could probably glue them to something that’s flat and wide on the bottom. Our wedding is seaside/beach themed so I considered gluing one of the numbers to a sand dollar (not sure if that’ll even work yet ). Depending on your theme you could try to think of something creative to glue them to so they’ll stand up on their own.

i’m thinking about doing the paper mache table numbers as well but haven’t actually purchased them yet.  Any advice??  How did all of your projects turn out?  And where did you find was the cheapest place to purchase the numbers??
