What exactly is the issue you're having? Are they not staying in the hole, not wanting to set at all, or what else?
My tips (I used them for my pre-wedding family bbq invites): Make sure that you are working on a REALLY hard surface, like a concrete floor. The setter needs that super hard resistance underneath. I tried to do them on a carpeted floor and got SUPER frustrated, because it was taking forever.
Also, make sure the hole you're punching first is small enough - if you use too big of a hole punch, the eyelets will end up going through the hole.
HTH - post if there's another problem that you're having - I couldn't quite tell what your exact trouble is from your post.
Maybe you should get a Crop-a-dile. Never used it before but I heard it makes setting eyelets easier.
thanks guys, it became easier on a harder surface but some still are falling off
hopefully they make it to the calligrapher and back!
