The Chestnut Street Store is bigger and the employees are REALLY friendly and helpful. There is pay parking next door at Wells Fargo Bank ($10) or there is also a garage on Pierce Street (between Lombard and Chestnut -- 2ish blocks down) that is metered. Bring lotsa change -- 25cent gets you 10 mins, I think. Let us know if you need any other SF advice!
I've been to the Paper Source on Fillmore and the one in Berkeley. Both are great, but I think the one in Berkeley is bigger maybe? A plus about Berkeley is that parking will be easier to find and you won't have to worry about meters. Have fun! Yes, please do ask if you need other SF advice :)
I've been to both SF locations and agree with katiethelady, the Chestnut street store is the bigger one, and a few parking lots a couple blocks away. I usually park at the one on Fillmore and Lombard. Have fun in SF!
i've been to all the paper source stores except berkeley and i vote for the one on Chestnut. there's lots of shopping around there too! And it's in the marina which is near the GG bridge.
Thanks ladies. I'll plan on the Chestnut street store. My work's head office is in CA and I'll be working Thursday and Friday - and then Friday is our Christmas party so aside from Wednesday afternoon we don't get any shopping time. :( We'll be in SF all day on Saturday as well but my work gave us 49'ers tickets (FH is a HUGE football fan) so we won't really have any time to do anything else.

On Wednesday FH and I are flying into San Fran which means I get to go into a real live Paper Source store.
We live in Canada where there aren't any Paper Source's so this will be my first time actually going to a store instead of shopping online. We're actually staying in Corte Madera (so we'll be heading North over the Golden Gate Bridge) but, from looking on a map, it looks like either store would be easy for us to visit. FH has set the limit at one Paper Source though - so which one to visit? Is one of the stores bigger? Also, considering we're from out of town and don't know our way around and will be driving a rental car, is one easier to drive to and/or park at? From the pictures on the website it looks like neither will have a parking lot and we don't really get parking in San Fran (seriously, what's with all the cars that are parked half on the sidewalk?!?) so the easier parking is, the better!
