its probably not dark enough for what you’re looking for (i have their swatch book in front of me).  its not a true navy.

then you would like Night.  Its not purple at all.  I actually really like the color because its not quite a true navy

Thank you for asking this, Recessionista!  I’m looking at Night as a sort of mat for our invites.  Glad to hear it’s not purpley or even slightly reminiscent of an eggplant.  This thread sold me!

I disagree…  I have the night paper in text weight, and it looks navy blue to me!  It doesn’t have any purple/royal blue/teal coloring (I bought envelopments paper in regalia blue, which looks navy blue online, but it’s actually a dark bluish/teal).

The only issue I have with the Night paper is that you can see the “fibers” in it.  This could be because it is not in cover weight?  This probably doesn’t matter for envelopes, anyway. 🙂

I made pocketfolds out of their night paper. It was the ONLY place I could find anything close to navy that was longer then 12 inches.

Buy the swatch book! Its only $5.00. I live in Canada as well, Edmonton to be exact and I love paper source. I bought their swatchbook before placing any of my orders and i’m so glad that I did. My advice is that if you are ever thinking of buying any sort of cardstock or other paper online, make sure you buy their swatchbooks or samples first! You want to know exactly the shade and color of paper before placing an order. The last thing you want to happen is to place an order, have it arrive and you hate the color!

Go for it buy the swatch book!

Has anyone printed on the night with a printer? I want to order the stickers and it is nice that they are printer sized but I worry the color may just be too dark.

We used night, and I ended up using metallic calligraphy ink…
