I JUST moved to Sacramento. My DW is 3 months away and I'm putting together my invites. Does anyone have any good paper store recs (aside from Michaels)? I know there are paper sources in SF but would prefer not to drive that far.
Xpedx and Kelly Papers are next door to each other in Sac so that is easy, however their hours aren't the most condusive to the average shopper. Pulp Paperie in East Sac has some great stuff and is priced relative to PS...also, there is a store in Town & Country that has some paper, but it is pricey.
Remember...Paper Source can ship whatever you need to your house and if you need scraps to ensure the right color selection they might do that or another bee reader might be able to help.
There's a nice paper/scrapbooking store in Rocklin, on the east side of Sacramento--it's called Green Tangerines (http://www.mygreentangerines.com/ ) & is kinda near the Galleria at Roseville, if don't live nearby but are making a shopping trip.
Slightly unrelated, but if you're looking for rubber stamps and some othe crafty things (but really--rubber stamps), there's an awesome little store on Fulton & Marconi in the same shopping center as the Trader Joe's... Can't remember the name, but I keep meaning to stop by there and get some things. I believe they have some paper selection there too, but can't vouch for what exactly....

I go to the one in either Berkeley or Santana Row but both are too far for you. Sorry I couldn't help.
