@rlaura76:  Between a bridesmaid and I, we made all the boutonieres, corsages for the mothers, reception flowers, bridesmaid bouquets, and mine.

I’ve never considered it before until I came across these pretty tissue/crepe paper flowers:

I’m not married, but my dad’s fiancee is making some paper flowers. She has tried a couple out as a tester and they look really good 🙂

@rlaura76:  I used paper flowers for my bridesmaids bouquets…they looked amazing! I received a lot of compliments on them, no one even knew they were paper roses. Each bouquet only cost me $35.

I’m seriously considering paper flowers.  I just need to decide whether or not I’m going to make them myself or have a seller from Etsy make them.  I’m going to see if I’m capable of making origami flowers this weekend – if I can, bring on the paper!

We sort of did. We had paper flowers for our place cards. Everyone thought they were the coolest thing. Some guests even brought theirs home. Score.
