yes! I’m only 7w4d, but in the past two weeks, I have lost count of the number of people who have brought up babies. One of my coworkers straight up asked me on tuesday “so are you and your hubby going to have kids soon? What’s your timeline?” (to be fair, we had been talking about another coworker who is due soon!). I swear it’s like I am giving off a baby odour or something! Doesn’t help that I am dying to tell SOMEONE, so I feel like one of these days I might just crack when someone asks….

Just stick with the same thing you’ve been saying all along

@globalmargaret: I have a coworker who I realize talks about babies and pregnancy a lot but lately it feels nonstop.  I know I’m just noticing it more. She said “don’t ever be pregnant while working at a hospital, too many bad smells” the other day.  We both work at the hospital.  Sure enough the next day some gross smells started making me gag.

Some other coworkers were talking about bras and she randomly volunteered how her boobs grew two cups sizes immediately and never went back.  Just a few days ago I posted how mine are bigger and I am worried about how big they’ll get.

I complained of a headache the other day and she asked me if I could take ibuprofen because she had some and I said no do you have tylenol?  Now I’m worried she is going to guess because I’m pretty sure I’ve talked in the past about how I always take advil.

I’m dying to tell someone too and if she outright asks I might not lie.

@globalmargaret:  DH & I were at one of his co-workers wedding this fall & he hadn’t shared with anyone that we were expecting yet. I was 15w at the time. We were asked multiple times that evening about when we were going to start a family. DH answered, “soon.” Technically true =) i was like “come on babe, just tell them already!” he finally told his boss before christmas when I was around 26 weeks. =)

@globalmargaret:  Omg, I hear you! It seems like it has only increased since I’ve been pregnant! So many people have said something, and when they ask “when” I want to say, “oh, in about six months.” We are so close to telling people (I’m 12.5 weeks now) but just not yet. Good luck to you!!!

@globalmargaret:  i know how you’re feeling!

I cant even count the number of times baby talk has been brought up in the past week or so. I’m only 7w1d so definitely not ready to spread the news. Only immediate family knows as of right now!

@blondie_bride:  I have two coworkers that are around 25-26 weeks and they are constantly talking about their pregnancies.  I am dying to be party of the “club.”

@PatientBee:  Oh i know! I work with all men so they’re antsy for when I “become a huge pregnant person” — as they put it. So they’re always joking about it and saying they’ll know for sure when it happens since i’ll be running to the bathroom with MS every few minutes…. unbeknownst to them, I already AM pregnant and my MS has been very kind and has not reared her ugly head!! =)

Too funny. And don’t even get my started on my dog, he is following me around like a magnet! He is already sensing the precious cargo on board!

I haven’t noticed more people asking. It’s been almost non stop with everyone since we got married and my sister gave birth 6 weeks ago. I am 6w5d and a really bad liar. I just hope my face doesn’t make a strange expression to give something away. I just tell everyone “I’ll see what I can do and let you know.” My mom and sister are the only ones that know. DH and I made a deal to not tell the rest of our family until after our first doctors appointment…in 2 weeks! It is killing me to not tell some of my best friends. They all want to meet up and have dinner and drinks and I know I won’t be able to keep it a secret if we do. I’m running out of ways to put them off for two weeks.

@blondie_bride:  My dog is acting differently too. I can’t quite put my finger on how though. He has always followed me around but it’s just different now. He wants to come in the bathroom with me now and when I don’t let him he waits outside the door. He also seems more snuggly and more sensitive. Before he would climb on my lap to get my attention to let him out. Now it seems like he climbs up there just to snuggle and dig his nose under my chin. I guess I did put my finger on how he is differet 🙂

@BulldogBride:  YES! Oakley was always a snuggler before, but more so on his terms, now all I have to do is look in his direction and he’s sprawled across me all cuddled up. (He’s not a small dog, about 70 lbs! lol) He also follows me into the bathroom now, something he NEVER did… and when i go to take a shower, he sits outside of the bathroom until i’m out.

So funny, but adorable. I just hope he’s a good boy and lovey dovey when the baby actually arrives!

@blondie_bride:  My Merlin isn’t too small either. He’s about 55-60 pounds. I’m slightly worried about him when the baby comes because he has some jealousy and nosiness issues. When DH and I hug he starts barking and sometimes jumps on us. When I am carrying anything he just has to know what it is. My sister had her baby over when she was 2 weeks old and he did fine when she was laying on the floor and when I was holding her. I think that may have been more curiosity and then she left. This one isn’t going anywhere 🙂 I think there will be some dog training in our future.
