We have a beautiful leather-bound wedding album through our photographer, but the parent albums were $1,000 so we held off on that. My mom really wants one though, so I was thinking about getting her one for Mother’s Day. Does anyone know where I could get a nice, printed album (not one where you slip the pictures in) for less than $300? Is that even possible?

Shutterfly does some nice printed photo books. They are not fancy leather bound albums but they might be a good compromise.

Walmart actually had very reasonably priced albums, which are of a decent quality. You make them on the photo section of their website. They come with an extra last page that says ‘Walmart,’ but that can be easily removed and then it doesn’t say Walmart anywhere. Walgreens has similar quality and prices.

Artisan State does gorgeous albums with the thick lay-flat pages. I got an 8×8 for FH for Christmas for about $80 after shipping.

We did shutterfly books for our parents, with a groupon and used them during a sale. Super cheap and the quality isn’t that bad. I’m planning on using mpix.com for our book, which has some pretty good prices too, and the quality is great, pros recomend it.

We ordered ours through Costco and I’m pretty sure it was less than $100 for a hard cover.

I got our parent and grandparent albums through Mypublisher each for $10 with a deal on groupon. They turned out great and you can drag and drop the photos however you like and really customize it to what you want, They were 20 pag books and I think I got 65 photos throughout. They have really easy software you just dowload on your computer
