Ours were all the same. I don’t see why they couldn’t be different, but it might make it seem like you are not symbolically integrating the two families because you are marking them out as separate. You could always get an even assortment and let it be random who gets pink and who gets blue.

Ours were all the same, but I don’t think it would be weird if yours were different.  All things considered (no offense) but nobody will notice the parents bouts!

Ours were all the same color but made of different flowers.  Since we didn’t care about them all having coordinating outfits the same color of flowers gave some unity. I think it looked great.
