Does anyone have any ideas for parent thank you gifts? My fiance and I want to give both sets of parents something really nice and thoughtful that’s not tacky or cheesy. Both sets of parents have been amazing and we want to show them how grateful we are for everything they’ve done for us. I tried looking on Etsy but can’t really find much that I like. Any ideas??
Thanks a bunch!

I’d get your parents something useful or that they’d use, unless they’re the type of people who are more into sentimental, place-in-on-the-mantle type people.
My mom had always wanted a KitchenAid mixer, like the one that comes with the different attachments, so we got her that. My dad got a bottle of whiskey becuase he has pretty much everything else that he wants (it’s to the point now my mom gets him socks and underwear for Christmas!).
My in-laws didn’t help with anything (we didn’t ask them to, so can’t really complain about that), and my husband didn’t seem to keen on getting them anything, so yeah.

@Twyla_Smith thanks! Those are some good ideas…our parents are definitely more sentimental types so I’m thinking some sort of picture. I do like the whiskey idea – both of my parents love whiskey so we might actually do that!

I think whatever you come up with, both sets of parents will be pleased; the gesture itself is a gift 🙂

We got them picture frames with pictures from the wedding! They loved it!

Both sets of parents were very generous and paid for a large chunk of our wedding so we wanted to buy them a gift to show how thankful we were. We got them each a $300 gift card to a hotel and spa in their hometowns. I also made them this picture frame. We will change out the pictures to our wedding pictures when they come in.
