Games, maybe trivia about your parents through the years? Maybe a display ofpictures of them through out the years? And a guestbook where friends can write funny memories.
I think you should definintely invite his brothers out of courtesy- they might be really hurt if you don't! Better to give them the option than make them feel unwanted/ unimportant.

So, in August my parents will be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary. My dad had originally planned on having a vow renewel...but then my FI and I got engaged and are getting married in June so I don't think they are still planning on doing that. I'd like to throw them a surprise anniversary party and I'm trying to figure out the guest list. My dad has 6 brothers and only 1 of them lives close. All other 5 live 6+ hours away. Do you think I should invite them? I doubt they would make the trip...and I don't want them to necessarily feel obligated to come...What do you think?
Also, I've never been to an anniversary party (!) and I'm not sure what to plan for. Obviously food and tables and chairs will be needed. What other things would you think about including?
