parents are not part of the wedding party and do not have to "match" anything
I second MichiganBride2012. Parents basically pick their own outfits. The mother of the bride picks her dress and consults with the mother of the groom, who is supposed to match the MOB in style and formality. That's basically the only guidance I have!
Agreed! Do you have any Pics of yourself in Josie in Silver Haze?? That is the exact dress I was thinking I want to get. :-D

HI all
im new to this so hopefully i am doing this right. i need some help though with trying to coordiate colours and 3 sets of parents :S
My dress is maggie sottero - josie in silver haze
the bridesmaids are wearing cocktail dresses in an ice blue (very light blue)
the guys are wearing white tuxes with the ice blue vest/tie
the groom is wearing white tux with silver vest/tie
our wedding is in december and semi formal...our colours as you can see are silver, ice blue and white. we live in canada so there will be snow for wedding.
my dad will be wearing a black tux but what colour vest/tie? then i run into what do the rest of the parents wear...my dad is remarried so what colour does she wear? what colour do my mom and step dad wear? and what colour does the grooms parents wear?
please help!
