Oh wow, those are gorgeous! My dad is Sri Lankan so I was thinking of getting a saree to surprise him for the father-daughter dance. I’ve been looking online and nothing caught my eye though (I want a white saree, not a red one).

@monkeyinasuit:  Thank you, I followed your board. I’m not very aware of the different designers and types but I will check those out! My mother is French and I was born and raised in Canada so I’m more of a western girl than south asian! lol

Wow, they are absolutely breathtaking! I’ve always believed that the Indian culture, especially weddings are so beautiful, and this post just reminded me of how true it is.
