@piinksharpiie: I have no idea what to get our sets of parents / step mom. BUT a friend of mine had professional photos done at the wedding of bride and groom with parent's, with dad and step mom, and had really beautiful silver frames engraved with "Thank you, we love you" and gave them to the parents. It was nice, uniform, and simple.

What about a book of the wedding pictures to come after the wedding?
Our wedding is a while away, so we haven't finalized anything. Some ideas I've seen for fathers are a handkerchief with a message from you to him (there's a few on Etsy that I've seen in the past) and special cufflinks. My fiance thought maybe a charm for his mom might be nice since she has a charm bracelet with charms for all of her kids, but I'm not sure. We've also talked about getting nice frames with our engagement picture in each, then replacing it with our wedding picture after. Sorry I can't be more help! Good luck!
I have a question about who to give gifts to. As the bride, I know I will give gifts to both of my parents, but should I give a personal gift to his parents too? Or does he just give gifts to his parents? And vice versa... Thanks!
I love the hanky idea by the way, I think I will do that, my mom will definitely need it!

Hey bees!
I'm running into the issue of I don't know what to get my in-laws or my father. My mom's easy, she's like me and I know exactly what I want to get her. My fiance has no idea what to get his in-laws so i'm in a pickle!
The other thing is too, my in-laws are divorced which can make it harder.
Any help would be appreciated! :)
