I have parents who are very practical and have sacrificed a ton for me over the years (finacial, workwise, personal, etc). Like most I assume feel, there is nothing in the world that could express how thankful I am for everything they have done for me and am so proud to call them my parents.
On that note, what do I get them as a thank you gift at my wedding? They both do not wear jewlery, mom doesn’t wear makeup, both retired and full time RVers… The type if they need something, they just go buy it for themselves.
Any and all suggestions are appreciated!!!

I got frames for mom/stepdad, dad/stepmom, and FI’s parents. Once we get our professional photos back, I will have a picture printed for the frames. We are also going to get each set of parents a $50 restaurant gift certificate.
For Christmas, we will put together a photo album on Shutterfly or some similar site.

For our parents each of them is going to get something with the professional wedding photos of them and us printed. For my parents we are getting them a picture blanket and a gift certificate at their favourite restaurant – both practical things.

We’ll see how the budget works out, but I would love to get our moms matching DBTY bracelets and the dads matching fancy cuff links or pens.

@Making84: what’s your budget?
could you afford a weekend trip for them? or if not could you get them a nice dinner at a restaurant they love or always have wanted to try out?
do they have a hobby (golf / dancing / road trips / reading / concerts / sports) for which you could get them a nice gadget / tickets / autographed memorabilia?
