I am considering NOT having the Groom and Best Man wear boutonnières because they will simply be wearing linen pants and shirts to our beach wedding. What about the fathers?
The mothers are covered – As we turn to walk down the aisle I will hand my mother and my Future Mother-In-Law a flower from my bouquet. We are doing this instead of the traditional corsages! I don’t want our fathers to feel left out, though.

We’re not getting any flowers for our parents. But I kind of like your idea of giving a flower from my bouquet!
The boy and I just discussed boutonnières last night – he doesn’t want one. Easy peasy. Anything that’s cheap is fine with me!

if the grooms and groomsmen don’t have bouts i think it’s fine if dad’s don’t. if you’re worried, you could always ask your dad.

My dad won’t care. 🙂 He’d rather I got married at the Courthouse, LOL. He’s supportive but so not interested in the details, which is fine with me!

I don’t think that they need boutonnières for a beach wedding! =) I am from the Louisville area as well…actually about 30 min. south of Louisville.
