This year, cash for my neice and nephew. I know it’s not “personal”, but they are at that preteen stage where it’s hard to know what they want. And my neice likes clothes, but I remember all the hideous clothes I was forced to wear becasue they were gifts, I don’t want to pick out something she won’t like.

My sister is going to hate me! haha but my husband and I bought my nephew (he is 20 months) one of those ball pits like at chuckie cheese – its basically a smaller sized kiddie pool filled with big plastic balls – i figured it was better than the annoying singing dog i bought him last year haha.

It looks kind of like this

I got each of my siblings and their kids a ‘hot chocolate gift basket’. I made individualized mugs and included hot chocolate, teas, ciders, coffee (for the parents), and marshmallows! Oh, and some homemade cookies in tins.

I got my smaller cousins (I’m the oldest by about 9-10 years) barbies, legos, spy glasses, board games, and little necklaces. There are 6 of them- so we try to stay within the same price range for all of them.

No neices or nephews yet!

For FI’s neice (she’s 4 months old) we got an “Olivia” book since that’s her name, a really cute toque, and a Fisher Price tea set where the pieces sing and count and stuff.

For his cousin’s daughter (she’s 3 years old) we bought a puppy that walks and barks and stuff (not a real one, a fake one just to clarify) and a Disney princess colouring book and crayons.
