Hi! My DH and I are going on our honeymoon to Paris in September!

We are going for a week. We like art and history so we’ll be doing a lot of museums – the Louvre and Musee D’Orsay (art museums), Cinematheque Francaise – Musee du Cinema and Musee Europeene de Photographie (cinema/photography museums), and Musee Cluny (medieval history).

We’ll also be seeing obvious things such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral, Sacre-Coeur and the Moulin Rouge in Montmartre, and famous areas such as the Champs Elysee and St. Germain des Pres.

Two cool nights we have planned are a trip up the tower in Montparnasse for a 360 degree view of Paris, and a dinner cruise on the Seine through Bateaux Mouches.

I would recommend reading a bit about different Paris attractions and choosing what suits you most. As I said, museums are important to us so we will be cramming quite a few in – we’re used to that, though.

Let me know if you want any info on anything, I’ve done tons of research.

Are you looking for a budget for the whole trip or for just while you’re there? We’re budgeting 1000-1200 Euros for a week for food/souvenirs, etc. but we’ve already prepaid our flights/hotel/museum passes/Metro passes with the money we received from our wedding gifts.
