I love that place. I have not gotten to photograph an event there yet, but I did shoot a band there recently for Performer magazine. If you'd like to see those send me a message and I'll send you a link.
ciao.
I went to an office party there a few years ago and it was a lot of fun. I can see it being a great wedding venue for the right couple. Sounds fun!
About four years ago, I went to a wedding reception there and it was killer! Very unique location. It's one of those places where the venue speaks for itself and you don't have to do a lot with the decor, cause the antiques ARE the decorations. The couple had a live band there, too, and they sounded great in the space.
Funny side story I will never forget from there: I was in the buffet line in the adjacent room and they had shrimp cocktail in this ice sculpture that was shaped into a bowl. As I was going for the shrimp with the tongs, the "stand" of the ice bowl melted and all the shrimp came tumbling down on me. LOL! I mean, they were salvageable - but I have never had that happen before.
Yeah...anyways - lol
<bump>
Does anyone else have any info on this venue? In particular, I would love to hear from brides who have used this venue.
Our wedding is coming up. I will let you know! But they are SO great to work with. Very accomodating. And the space is totally unique!

Hi all! I just wanted to introduce myself, and also say how excited I am to have finally found the perfect venue. I couldn't find many people who did their wedding at the same place, so if you are out there, I'd love to meet some Venue Twins!
We are getting married at Paris on Ponce. It's a very ecclectic antique store in Atlanta (you guessed it - on Ponce de Leon). It is SUCH a unique place, and the owners have been steller so far.
If anyone's been there, even for a party, I'd love to hear about it!
