Weddingbee boards

Having an open bar ensured people would dance. Undoubtedly. At least all the cool people. Our reception was a blast. We did the funky chicken (ok the ceiling was low so i had to sling the bouquet sideways but i *look* like i'm pulling a Mr. Roboto), bumped booties, did the electric slide (what is up with the look on my face?!), SIL danced to Michael Jackson with 7.5 month old baby C in her tummy (who is now a precious 5 days old and super adorable), and a groomsmen decided to do the worm for us. I think the highlight is when Billy Joel's Piano Man came on and everyone circled around us while we danced and sang obnoxiously to it. It was a really sweet and surprising gesture of our friends! We used to stand in a big circle with our arms around each other in college drinking a beer and yelling at the top of our lungs. It's almost a tradition and DH loooooves him some Billy Joel.

People have told us for months now that it was one of the funnest weddings they've ever been to and it was just amazing. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside

Finally, I leave you with some details from the reception. There weren't too many (boo, lots of hard work) but I love seeing them all in one place, side by side. I took inspiration for our candles/flowers/water centerpieces from Mrs. Lemon!
