Hi

I got the Pascua too. I love it, although the linning is crawling up on one side in the front, so it peeps out. It is soo annoying. I will have to have that fixed. And also the tull underneath is really stiff, so it makes this bump from behind.. Don’t know what to about that. Any ideas?

Do you have any pictures? I would love to se another bride in her Pascua πŸ™‚

Hello Ladies,

I too have purchased a Pascua.  It’s being discontinued I was told.  Not sure why ?  Perhaps it’s because there’s only three of us who’ve purchased it!  πŸ™‚

Miss Diamond it looks gorgeous on you!  Shows off your fabulous figure.  I didn’t realise the train was so long at the back.  I love it even more!  Everytime I tried it on, they had to pull it in a lot at the back because it was so big on me.

I can relate to how you must feel Aleksandra.  There are multitudes of gorgeous dresses out there and closer to the date you may feel the pressure to not leave a stone unturned to look absolutely fabulous on the day!  I have had to stop myself from looking around.  It’s very easy to purchase something else !  But I’m sure you will sparkle in your dress!

Here I am – I’m going to wear a brooch with it.  But we’ll see on the day.  The dress is a plus size and I’m a size 2 so it’s very big on me.  I am not sure on veil length.  This veil was cathedral length which I think might be a bit too long.  Although I love the lace.  I am considering a fingertip veil or maybe one that goes to the floor ?  How long is the train (in terms of measurements) on the dress ?

I couldn’t find the veil I really wanted at Pronovias though.  So I’m looking elsewhere.  I’d love to hear what you decide on.

By the way, I know it’s not wise to, but I was looking at the latest Bridal Collections for Spring 2013.  I think our Pascua looks similar to one of Monique Lhuillier’s in her latest collection.  I think it’s so romantic and pretty. We are so on trend ! πŸ™‚ I wonder what its back is like ?

Hi girls

Thank you so much for the compliments πŸ™‚ I think, or I know, that my dress regrets is mostly due to the price. I went over budget. I think it is sooo much to pay for a dress. Don’t know what you paid, but in Denmark (I’m from Denmark) it cost what equals to about 2800 dollars. My budget was more like 1800 dollars. I absolutely love the dress, but I think, when you pay that much everything about it has to be perfect and that’s why i’m so annoyed with the lining and the tulle.

Aleksandra, I don’t know about the accesories yet. I’m pretty sure i’m not gonna wear a vail, maybe just some big earrings. I have bought the shoes though, got the most gorgeous Louboutins in multi color glitter πŸ™‚ yay !!

MrsWH2B you look beautiful – please post pictures when you get the real dress, I would love to see it. It looks really pretty with the brooch and the veil πŸ™‚ Did you noticed if the dress you tried on had the same “bump” in the back, as mine does?

That Monique Lhuillier dress is GORGEOUS !!

@Diamond117:  I ALSO have just purchased this dress and I LOVE IT!! So there we have it.. four brides πŸ™‚

I think the dress is absolutely beautiful and it looks just stunning on you girls. One thing the ladies said to me was that that style of dress doesnt suit many girls body shape… as it is figure hugging!!

I tried on many dresses and this was by far my fav!! Im going to have a few alterations done ..Ive bought my dress well in advance but i loved it too much not too!!!

You will all look amazing on your big day… stop having regrets πŸ™‚

@Diamond: I haven’t noticed any issues with the dress (lining or tulle) as the dress I tried on was a plus size and they had to fold it a lot at the back to pull it close to my body shape.  I hope the issues can be resolved for you.  But if they are only minor I’m sure no one will notice it on the day as everyone will be happy to be there and join in the celebrations πŸ™‚

@hwal: Great to hear you bought a Pascua too!  I’m happy with my dress too.

We will all look beautiful on the day!!!

Hi ladies!

I have been searching everywhere for any type of info from real brides who love Pascua.  I thought something was wrong with it because I havent seen many comments or anything else on it.  But seeing the 4 that have already purchased it and not having regret gives me some relief.  I LOVE IT!!!! I have not purchased it yet.  After trying on about 40 dresses, I had given up on dress shopping for a while.  But I saw Pascua on the Pronovias website and went in the store in NY, only to try it on.  I fell in love with it.  I stare at it all day on my down time.

Since I tried it on only a month ago, I went back to the website and after hours of searching, I still hadnt found it.  Only to come here, to see that Mrs.WH2B says its being discontinued.   I hope not yet, because I still want to order it.  Mrs.WH2B, if you have any other info on it, please let me know.  But everyone who has pics in it looks gorgeous! I was so excited to see real brides in it.!

Hello ladies! I was a Pronovias Pascua brida and I just LOVED my dress… i felt like a glamorous brunette Barbie in it. Here is a link to pics on The East Coast Bride blog from the wedding: http://theeastcoastbride.com/?s=off+beet

I dont know why it was discontinued either because for such a full dress it was actually quite comfortable- I danced all night in it! And more than anything I loved the way it looked bustled- it only got more full πŸ™‚

I also opted to not go with a Pronovias veil. I really wanted a veil that was as full as the bottom and typically Pronovias veils arent in that style. So I went with a Paloma Blanca veil that was custom made to the perfect length. I wish i could wear that veil again- it was absolute favorite.

Hope that helps!

@CMcNabb21:  wow, just WOW – You look absolutely amazing in that dress!! And what a beautiful wedding, very classy πŸ™‚

Did you wear a underskirt or something to keep all the tulle away from your feet? I’m planning on doing that, it makes it so much easier to walk in it. Did you have your trail shortened, I think it look a bit shorter than mine. I’m considering doing that.
