thats great you are keeping the girls warm, how did you go finding some? Ive looked at them for other weddings, but thought it is easier to by from local hat/accessories shops.

challenge: co ordinate our wedding in 12 weeks from 08/10/09 !!

I looked at pashminas on Amazon and numerous other places for my September 2009 wedding. I ordered some from a company out of NYC (who is actually one of the Amazon sellers) that I ended up returning because the quality was horrible...visible imperfections, scratchy material, etc... NOT something I would want to give to my bridesmaids.
I ended up purchasing pashminas for my bridesmaids on Etsy at ClassyWedding. For the price ($18/each) the quality is great and she has tons of colors to select from! They aren't super-duper heavy like a real cashmere pashmina, but they are soft and will keep the chill off...I even bought 2 ones for myself in different colors after my wedding.
check out http://www.peachcouture.com/2plyArt_pashmina.html $9.99 with free shipping!
That's where I got mine they are nice size, high quality and good color. I even went back to get some more for myself after getting a sample for my BM's.

I am going to go ahead and buy a shawl for my bridesmaids since it might be a little chilly for them for our outdoor wedding although technically it is inside a Pavillion with heaters but the walk to the pavillion is a long one.
I am so overwhelmed by the amount of companies on the internet that sale them. I have found them from $7.99 and above. The $7.99 were on Amazon and got good reviews. I don't have much time as my wedding is 3 weeks away.
I am looking for anyone that has actually bought a shawl off the internet and if so how was the quality and would you recommend the site.
I am wanting to stay under $30 for each shawl, my budget is about to bust at the seams.
