Those are the kind of alterations that aren't necessarily a bad thing, though =]. Have the donut, then get back on the train tomorrow =]
I know exactly what you mean! I've been working my butt off to fit in my dress. I bought my dress at a sample sale knowing I'd have to lose 15 lbs to fit into it - which is the amount of weight I wanted to lose before the wedding. I'm the smallest I've been in years and I love it! But I'm afraid the second that dress fits or the second the wedding is over I'll eat all the sweets I've been skipping the past few months.
Have one donut but don't go crazy! I'm sure that you were also trying to lose weight so that you can be more healthy, so don't use the wedding as the end all and be all.
It just feels really weird to not have that goal looming right ahead of me. May is so far away! I am going to try my best to stick with it until I see FI on Friday though. I want him to be impressed (he hasn't seen me in 7 weeks and I've lost almost 10 pounds) so that will be my motivation!
I totally know what you mean! I've already had my muslin fitting, so now if I lose any weight it's going to be very expensive to alter the actual dress. And due to the fabric and design, very difficult in general. I had them fit the muslin VERY tight so that I could lose a few pounds and it would still fit. But pressure is OFF to lose weight! :)
I have my next fitting March 31st and I know I shouldn't be trying to be super tiny for it...but I am :X So I know how you feel!
@missAsB is right though...you wanna be toned for more then just "i do" so have a donut, keep working out and eating well and you'll rock your fitting!!
So I just had a big, dressing-drenched sub and a chocolate cookie as my "treat". You know what? It wasn't as satisfying as I built it up to be! And now I feel really bloated. Back on the wagon tomorrow!

So I thought I was going to have my dress fitted a week from tomorrow, but when I called to ask a question, they explained that if I continue to lose weight I will have to pay for more alterations again at my second fitting. So basically they convinced me to wait until May to have my first fitting, since it only takes the seamstress a week to complete the alterations, and then come back just to check that everything is perfect. It will still be three weeks out from the wedding and that way I have more time to get to my goal weight without having to worry about double alterations.
All that to say, I have been hardcore dieting in anticipation of these alterations. Now, I feel sorta like, "Well, pressure's off! What's there to eat?!" This is really bad because I don't want to undo all my hard work, but without the immediate goal I don't feel nearly as motivated! I may or may not have a donut today.
