Congratulations! That is so exciting! Good luck relocating the cats! Trapping ferals is definitely NOT fun.
Actually it's not exciting, it's scary as hell. Any idea the logistics involved with relocating a cat sanctuary?

For better or worse, settlement is this Friday! We passed the FHA inspection (at long last) and there are no more hoops to jump through. For the first time in my life, I will be a homeowner (DH already owns one home and has been through this process before).
We and the sanctuary cats will be moving into a 1500 sq. ft, ranch house with a two car garage and a finished basement. Two fireplaces and three acres of land. There is 1/2 acre of woods in the front (with vernal ponds), a nice front yard, a huge back yard and in the very back, more woods, and a canoe-able stream. On the other side is a steep mountain (for PA that is).
I have already put down the deposit for the Amish to build the kitties a two-story Gambrel barn. Now onward to the barn site preparation and time to order the fencing supplies for the kitties' play yard. I do not even want to think about the kitty relocation process and the non-social ferals will have to be re-trapped.
So much work to do! So overwhelming!
