@Ms. Blue:  My sis designed some that look awesome! I’ll link her facebook page, but you need FB to see it. She designs and sells electronic files to DIY brides, and it is certainly something I wouldn’t want to design myself. There are many vendors that do these electronic versions or you can buy pre-made from many etsy realtors. The passport one she did recently for a friend, but she said the hardest part is that you can’t print white ink, so you have to figure out a way to put “passport” on the invite that isn’t directly on the coloured paper.

We did a boarding pass style invitation. Originally planned to have someone on etsy make them however we ended up needign them faster then they could make. My amazing FI made them in photoshop for us and we had them printed at a local printing place.

@Ms. Blue:  Just wanted to also throw the idea of luggage tags! We did STD luggage tags. It was DIY, and our guests thought they were super cute because they can actually use them.

I didn’t want guests to misplace them, so I made a magnet to hang them from….

@Ms. Blue:  I used two different vendors for the invites and STD’s.. the STD girl was awesome to work with and the invite lady was full of excuses on what/why was taking so long and what not… I’m sure she has the format of mine since I basically narraited to her exactly how I wanted her to design it. I paid $25 for the whole lot (great deal) of files and then printed on my own. She ended up giving me a full refund b/c she made an error on one part of the invite and I also think the refund was a way of not allowing me to leave feedback on her profile since I wasn’t considered a paying customer anymore.

I didn’t do passport or boarding passes, but I did use this vendor and highly recommend her:
