MyTableware.com allows you to set up a registry with a nickname that people would have to know in order to find the registry.

I don’t 100% remember, but I think myregistry.com may have that.

Curious – any reason you’re after that?

I speak as someone who likes to buy small items for former dance students and such, off their registries.

I think Bed Bath and Beyond has theirs password protected if you want

pottery barn and william sonoma have one and I bet a lot of other places too!
