@magnolia87:  Love these! They are very similar to mine. Mine were patent peep toe in a dusky blue. My dress was lace and tulle.

There is no “rule” I’m aware of regarding the mixing of patent and lace…and even if there was, who the hell cares? Those shoes are awesome! I say go for it 🙂

I’m always a fan of patent leather!  I don’t think you can really go wrong with it.  While my dress wasn’t lace, my shoes were purple patent leather and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.  : )

Patent goes with all fanrics! It’s magical like that.

I’m sorry but I don’t think it goes at all. If I was your bridesmaid I would absolutely say no way to those shoes. To me, patent leather is heavy and office-like, regardless of color. I think with a lace dress you need satin, or organza, or some sort of fabric with some “give” to it.

Patent leather just doesn’t fit at all here, I’m sorry. I think you run the risk of ruining your overall look:

I like all of the above much MUCH better than the patent. They are just so much more special-occasion to me.

@adoc86:  Thank you!

@magnolia87:  Thanks so much! Yes, they certainly were! The style is Evie. The girls loved them and said they were really comfortable.

@magnolia87:  I love them, beautiful 🙂  That being said I’ll give you the advice I wish I’d followed 3 pairs of earrings ago – don’t buy accessories too soon.  If your date listed is correct you’ve got lots of time.  Or maybe I’m the only indecisive shopaholic out there 😉
