Laurc:  I think it looks really nice, but I’m a little torn. Since it’s such a similar band I almost wonder if they “should” be the same (everyone has a little OCD in them). If they were totally different bands somehow I don’t think it would matter as much. Maybe you should just try it out and see if you get used to it? I wasn’t too hip on my engagement ring when it came in the mail (I picked it out!), but after 2 days of wearing it I was in love.

Laurc:  I love it, and I have to say, before I saw the pictures I was ready to vote no! I generally don’t like matching bands with different widths, but theres something about yours that I like. I think it’s the fact the the different thickness allows each ring to stand alone and be seperate rings.

I really love the look of your rings. I think the thickness of the wedding band allows it to be “seen” while still being less flashy than your beautiful ering. The perfect pairing!

Laurc:   Honestly, it’s barely noticeable. I doubt anyone will even notice unless you point it out. I had a similar dilemma. My engagement ring is very thin pave but a double split shank, so I could either go with a thick band or a very thin band. The very thin band won out in the end and I will get a matching eternity ring for the other side so it will look like one ring with 4 pave bands 🙂

I think the thickness difference makes the engagement ring pop more, imho.
