What?! Are you serious?! That’s awful!!!! Tell those people to act like adults and take care of their own money situations! It’s not up to you to take care of those things. That’s absolutely awful. I say take your mom and your fiane and run away for a DW and leave the others behind!

What?? I’m confused, they want you guys to just GIVE them $??  Thats insane! I have never asked anyone for $ (past like childhood age when begging for more allowance to buy some candy).  I haven’t even had a money talk with my parents about the wedding and if they were going to help out.  I have no intention of even asking them to help me out with either… though maybe I should seeing how my moms guest list is over 100.  =

@pinkshoes: We are date twins!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

That is so strange that people would ask you for money to go to your wedding. An invitation to your wedding is a privilege not a right. I would use that alone to eliminate people from the guest list. For me, I would do whatever I could to attend the wedding of someone who really meant a lot to me but that would never include asking the inviter (sp?) for money.

Wait, who is saying you need to pay for their plane ticket? What? What planet are these people from that they think it’s your responsibility to pay for them? If you can’t afford it then DON’T COME. Ugh I’m so sorry you’re dealing with these crazy people.
