those are custom fees she’s talking about.

and people mark my item as gift all the time, however I would not print the shipping label through paypal if you’re going to mark it as a gift.

@Missus_LLC:  The fee gives you buyer protection from paypal.  It will make it harder to dispute the purchase if you mark the payment as “gift” when it was actually a purchase/sale.  If the seller doesn’t want to pay for it, I think I would pay for it myself just to have some protection in case the item is lost and such. 

The fee is about 2.9% + $0.30 USD

@Missus_LLC:  Our photographer (a reputable one on weddingwire) asked that we send the deposit as a “gift”.  We just decided to pay for the fees just in case…because you’ll never know!  I would ask for delivery confirmation/tracking information, too.
