Hi, welcome! I can’t help much on the peach sapphire front, but wanted to give your post another bump because I love peach sapphires too!

Could you call around to jewelers in your area and ask if they have them, and go see one in real life?

have you looked on the sapphire co website?  You may need to have this sourced for you with a jeweler.  I have seen some on etsy, with eidel precious, but the ones I have seen therehave huge windows, and that would drive me nuts.

@bossypants:  I have seen some sapphire rings on their youtube feed, but not a peach one.

Saphires don’t have a high refractive index, therefore, they don’t “sparkle”. Peach Sapphires can be highly saturated or weak, the more intense the more valuable. Sapphires and Rubies are the same stone. Padparasha the most highly saught after of “pinkish peach” Sapphires. I would definately ask your jewelers to show you different stones. Expect them to be heat treated unless papers prove otherwise.

I wish I could show you mine in person! Even videos don’t do my ring justice, really. I know you saw some pictures, but here are some again for reference. 😉

I don’t know if I could call it “sparkle” but it definitely reflects light very beautifully and I think that the cushion cut really helps with that. The diamonds also add to it.

These posts helped me purchase my peach sapphire from Eidel Precious on Etsy.  (So thanks!) and I just wanted to share pics of my new ring (dream come true) because I am so in love and happy I went with her.

it came in the most beautiful wooden box.  it is a 2.8 unheated peach/light pink sapphire in rose gold (it’s a size 6 but I’m more of a size 5.75).  it has tons of sparkle and the craftsmanship is truly amazing.  way prettier in person.  SO HAPPY!  if anyone is thinking about purchasing a peach sapphire from Eidel Precious–go for it!  you will not be disappointed.
