I have had my ring since the end of October 2013 and so far so good! I wear it everyday and normally only take it off if I am at the gym or taking a shower and washing my hair. I have noticed it does get cloudy easily so I probably clean it every other day and I am planning on taking it to a jeweler soon to make sure the prongs are tight and to get it professionally cleaned. There was another thread on here a few months ago where a woman was saying that she has had hers for two years and has had issues with keeping it clean and I think one of her diamons fell out of the band/halo. Hope this helps!

Faith123:  its an Eidelprecious ring off of Etsy! and when I say cloudy I mean the stone gets noticeably dirty to me after a few days – the actual stone does not get cloudy. I believe sapphires are one of the hardest stones after diamonds so you wouldn’t have to worry about it being scratched.

Faith123:  Thank you!  Like Novemberbride1987, my ring is also from EidelPrecious! We researched her work and picked it out together. I’ve always read tons of great reviews,  but did see some issues with how quickly the rings can get dirty.  With regular cleaning and care, you should be more than fine!  🙂

Mine is from Eidelprecious as well! Her rings are truly stunning 🙂 Sapphires are right under diamonds on the MOHS scale so they are durable enough for everyday wear. I just got mine a few weeks ago so I can’t really speak to how well they hold up over along period of time, but I will say that although they are delicate, they are very well made and should hold up nicely if taken care of properly. I don’t wear mine to bed, in the shower, doing any sort of cleaning or cooking, etc. so my center stone always stays pretty clean. I probably don’t need to baby it this much but I’m a worry wart so I do it as a precautionary thing haha. Heres my peach sapphire beauty!

Here is my 2 ct Peach sapphire set in 18k rose gold.  It was custom made by jewelry designer Karen Schein of MultiPearl in San Francsisco (http://multipearl.com).  I wear it ALL THE TIME (even to bed, even though my fiance has asked that I not do that just in case it comes off in the night or something which has yet to EVER HAPPEN).  I just hate taking it off and often forget it is there since it doesn’t seem to get in the way not in the least bit! I love forgetting and then glancing down and being surprised to see it all over again.  Most definitely the best and most beautiful piece of jewelry I have ever owned and that I will undoubtedly cherish for always.
