Hey Bees! I am having a Peacock Themed Wedding I have the colors Chocolate Brown, Peacock blue and Royal Purple as colors but I still feel like something is lacking! I have TONS of Peacock feathers ready to be used in the bouquets, hair peices, and eventually in the centerpieces too..but WHAT ELSE? As of right now I have plenty of Ideas thanks to Pinterest for what I want to do for the wedding centerpeices but nothing set in stone, I havent bought much yet! My wedding is in July and I am starting to panick a bit! If any of you bees are doing a Peacock Theme what are you doing to pull it off? By The Way I am on a budget and a huge DIY bride so I am looking for things that are affordable!
Thanks Honey Bees!

@ohmyglobmylumps3: I’m not sure what your question is but copper is a nice accent for a peacock wedding.

@ohmyglobmylumps3: I love this colour scheme! As your on Pinterest I probably can’t offer you anything new.
Best of luck and are you getting married this year?

@ohmyglobmylumps3: How about using a little dark turquoise to match the feather? As it’s not the dominant colour you could use it in small amounts / little touches. Less than 6 months to go – exciting times!

We’re using peacock colors, too, but no purple. We’re sticking with shades of blue and green, and various shades of ivory. Lots of teal and turquoise and the lighting in the reception area is amber.

We are also doing a peacock theme, and highlighting emerald green (as I am a redhead), purple, teal and gold for colours. It ended up like that because I couldn’t decide what I liked! We’re having a peacock themed cake and are using peacock feathers in a lot of decor – combined with Christmas baubles in bright colours which were really fashionable this year. We will also have plain coloured feathers in the decor. I’ll be following this closely though as I feel that we may be missing a trick also.

Yes, you need a metal color! I would agree with pp on copper or even gold. Congrats!
